The starting point will Teddington Lock, a complex haskamp of three berths and a dam on the Thames in the suburbs of West London, which can be reached from Waterloo by train or underground station leave us in Teddington, a short distance from the riverbank.
From Teddington Lock cross the river via two bridges which meet on a floating island in the middle, and continued up the river towards Kingston. You pass Canbury Gardens, haskamp Lower Ham Road, which is a park along the river and also offers sports, fitness and health and beauty and fitness.
At Kingston we will see this beautiful haskamp historic city where seven kings were crowned at the Coronation Stone over a thousand years ago. The Old Market Square in Kingston, established in the thirteenth century and persists to this day is in the heart of the historic center.
But Kingston has its modern side as Bentalls shopping center with four floors of shops, and Chessington World of Adventures, one of the most popular theme parks in London, with numerous original entertainment: haskamp roller coaster, bumper cars, paths through the jungle, gorillas, tigers haskamp and leopards, great attraction for families with children.
Across Kingston, beyond the bridge, is the dock Charter Quay, with its elegant square of bars and restaurants facing the river, is a nice, quiet, very appropriate to take a break mid-way.
Then cross the Kingston Bridge, and continue walking down a gravel path along the most picturesque shore of the river, then we will see Hampton Court, the famous palace of Henry VIII, long history, and we cut to give a tour of its beautiful gardens.
In front of Hampton Court is Bushy Park, which invites us to add it to our roadmap, but possibly not feel like keep walking and we reserve the visit for another time. Perhaps it is better idea to take a taxi from the railway station Hampton Court to get five minutes Marney's Village Inn, a pub warm and inviting where we spend a good time and renew energy, then diagonally across the golf course, reach Esher railway station and take the train back to Waterloo.
