지난 4일여 심한 갈증이 생겨 하루에 2-3갤런 정도의 물을 들이키고 섭취한 물의 배출을 위해 화장실을 하루에 20여번도 넘게 들락거리다 갑자기 생각나는게 있었다. 3P의 증상이 보이면 당뇨일 가능성이 있다고 하는 글을 오래 전 본 기억이 있어 인터넷을 뒤져보니 갈증( Polydipsia), 잦은 배뇨(Polyuria), 그리고 배고픔(Polyphagia)이란다. 갈증과 잦은 화장실출입외에도 왜 이렇게 많이 먹히는 걸까 하며 쉴새 없이 집어 먹고있는 중이니 3가지 주요 증상이 모두 일치. 어제 부리나케 의사를 찾아가 검사를 받은 결과 이제 명실공히 당뇨, 고혈압 환자란다. 혈당 268, 혈압 140/100으로 우선 약을 조제해 줄테니 수치를 낮추고 이제는 식생활과 운동에 신경을 더 써야 한다고 경고해줬다. 아버님과 어머니 생전에 두분 다 그 문제가 있으셨으니 나도 그럴 가능성이 크다는 사실을 알면서도 받아들이기가 싫어서였을까, 난 무지 건강한걸로 믿고 있었고 또 그러고 싶었다. 아내와 아이들 모두에게 검사결과와 의사의 경고에 대해 설명을 해 준 다음 이제는 식생활을 많이 바꿔야 되니 도와달라고 했고 모두 대찬성을 해 줘 고마왔다. 본인들의 건강을 위해서라도 그렇게 기꺼이 하겠다는 것. 피해야 할 음식과 섭취해야 할 음식, 조리법등 촘촘히 공부를 해야 하는 것이 앞으로 많겠다. 운동량도 늘려야겠고. 조제해 준 약을 먹고 수치가 순식간에 떨어지는게 눈에 보일 정도니 약이 무섭다. 장기가 부담을 가지게 될 게 당연하다는 생각. 어서 음식섭취와 운동만으로 수치를 낮추어 약을 안먹게 되는게 목표인데 쉽지는 않겠지... 이런 저런 생각에 약간은 우울한 상태로 멍하게 지내다 오후에 있던  LA다저스와 피츠버그파이어리츠의 경기에서 류현진선수가 던지는 걸 보고 기분이 많이 좋아졌다. 1회에 홈런을 맞았어도 배짱좋게 잘 던지는 모습이 정말 든든하고 앞으로는 보는 사람이 불안해 하거나 걱정하는 건 전혀 필요없겠지 싶다. 7회에 교체되고 팀이 이겨 승리투수가 됨. 내노라 하는 메이저리그 투수들 사이에서 자신의 위상을 차곡차곡 쌓아간다는 느낌.

원하지 않게 후배가 되셨군요. 당뇨는 병도 아니니 크게 신경쓰지 마세요. 그냥 친하게 지내면서 같이 가면 됩니다. 이미 internet search로 잘 알고 계실테고... freezer rooms 한가지 말씀드리면, 조심하겠다는 초심 잊지마세요. 약은 습관이 되어서 잘 먹는데, 운동은 흐지부지.. 식사는 정량 초과... 그러면 또 오르고... 10년 넘은 당뇨지만, 최근에 올려 놓은 수치를 낮추기 위해서 애를 쓰는 중입니다. Reply Delete freezer rooms

Hey, sorry about that! I had become real thirsty for few weeks about three months ago and started drinking 2-3 gallons of water and went to the bathroom 20 times day and night. So I got suspicious about having diabetes and decided to go to the doctor. The test they ran showed that my sugar level had soared up to 268 and 140/100 for the blood pressure. So the doctor told me that I am a border-line diabetes, hypertensive and prescribed freezer rooms me 500mg Metformin twice a day and 10mg Lisinopril once a day. Since then I've been exercising more and watching out for food consumption very carefully. On my last visit to the endocrinologist, he looked at my numbers that I had recorded over two weeks and said the numbers were looking great. Upon my request for cutting freezer rooms down on medication, he agreed to let me cut Lisinopril down to 5mg a day keeping the same dosage on Metformin to see what happens. For the following one week, I took 5mg Lisinopril once a day and 500mg Metformin once a day (as a test even though it's against freezer rooms his order). To my surprise, the numbers were the same as before for all week long. 114-138 for the sugar, 118/85 for the pressure. Then I stopped freezer rooms all the medication at all for the next 2nd week up till today. So far the numbers are looking pretty good keeping the average of 86-123 for the sugar and 125/93 for the pressure. Only concern now is the diastolic reading. It constantly stays around 86-99. Can you ask Andy to read this comment and let me know what he thinks? But as a whole, this experience brought a very good eating habit and exercising freezer rooms atmosphere to our family and we are benefiting from it. It is a gain for sure. Jen: Going through the final exams now and will come home next weekend.
